Atrium
For Florida residents handling their own family law case

A calmer way to file your Florida family law paperwork.

We are not a law firm. We are not a do-it-yourself tutorial. We are a careful, mostly-human process that turns your answers into a packet the clerk will accept — for a price that isn’t an attorney’s.

Atrium is a nonlawyer document preparation service

Why Atrium exists

Florida hands you three hundred pages of court forms and expects you to figure them out alone. An attorney charges thousands even when your case is straightforward. We built Atrium for the people between those two extremes — careful, sensible, on a budget, and capable of speaking for themselves.

One conversation, every form

You answer plain-language questions once. We put your answers on every form in your packet — formatted to court requirements.

A real specialist reads it

Before anything is sent, a human reviews every page and calls you to confirm. Florida nonlawyer rules require this; we'd do it anyway.

No legal advice — by design

We don't recommend forms. We don't predict outcomes. We don't tell you what to do. Those are an attorney's job, and we honor the line.

Deliverable

Eight forms. One packet. Court-ready.

Your packet is a single PDF containing every form your case needs. Filled with your answers, formatted to court requirements, with the operator disclosure stamped on every page so it’s ready to sign and file.

The process

From your first answer to a filed case.

Most customers finish the intake in 20 minutes. The packet arrives by email a day or two later. The court filing itself is on you — we’ll tell you exactly what to do.

    We review every form

A specialist reads your packet end to end, flags any inconsistencies, and prepares notes for the call.

  3. 03≈ 15 minutes

    One personal call to confirm

Required by Florida nonlawyer rules. We call you, confirm the details, and answer any process questions you have before delivery.

    Your packet arrives by email

A single PDF with every form filled and the operator footer stamped. You sign, notarize where required, and file with the clerk.

The honest comparison

We’re not the right tool for every case.

Here’s when Atrium fits, and when it doesn’t.

Do it yourself

Free, if you have the time

  • Florida court forms are publicly available
  • You decipher each one yourself
  • Formatting mistakes cause clerk rejections
  • Re-typing the same info on every form

When to talk to an attorney instead. If you need to know whether divorce is the right move, whether you’re entitled to alimony, how custody might be decided, or what to do if your spouse contests — those are legal questions. We can’t answer them. We only complete the forms you’ve already decided to file.

A note from us

We talk to you the way we’d want someone to talk to our own family at a moment like this.

Filling out family law paperwork is rarely happy. We don’t use breezy startup copy. We don’t pretend the forms are simple just to close a sale. We don’t add upsells in your cart.

We answer the phone when you call. We use real grammar in our emails. The intake assistant is patient. The reviewer is careful. The packet arrives when we said it would, and the file you receive is yours forever — even after we delete our copy.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Atrium a law firm?+

No. Atrium is a Florida nonlawyer document preparation service. We type information you provide onto official forms. We are not attorneys, and we cannot give legal advice.

Will you tell me which package to choose?+

No. Florida law prohibits us from recommending a package or telling you which forms apply to your situation. You must select the package yourself, based on your own understanding of your case. If you're unsure, consult a Florida-licensed family law attorney.

What do I need to do after I receive my packet?+

You sign each form (some require notarization), pay the clerk's filing fee, file with the clerk of court in the appropriate Florida county, and serve copies on the other party as required. We do not file or serve on your behalf.

How long does the whole process take?+

From the time you complete your intake, expect a phone call within one business day. Your completed packet typically arrives within 24–48 hours after that call.

What if I make a mistake during the intake?+

You can edit any answer at any time during the intake — there's a sidebar with all your answers and an Edit button on each one. A specialist also reviews every answer with you on the phone before the packet is delivered.

Are my answers private?+

We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure: encrypted in transit, AES-256 encrypted at rest for SSN and financial fields, and never used for advertising. However, conversations with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege, because we are not your attorneys.

What's your refund policy?+

Full refund within 24 hours of payment, as long as we have not yet begun review work on your packet. Once review work has begun, payment is non-refundable.

How long do you keep my data?+

We permanently delete completed cases 30 days after we send you your packet. You'll get an email reminder 7 days before deletion so you can save copies.
